I miss high school. I do. I'm sure everyone does. Who doesn't?
High school is different from university. Very different.Obviously I wasn't a role model student back in high school days, but that's what I like about it. The fact that we can get away with anything.
Another thing I miss most about high school is my body. Of course not when I was still in Form 1 or Form 2. Believe it or not, I was pretty short at the time. One of the shortest among of my closest high school friends. And was mocked for it too. (You know, aside from my "Maggi Mee" hair and my inability to pronounce "R").
I was a student athlete back in those days. Thus, I exercise a lot. And in Form 5, when I transferred to sport school, I sort of had competitions with my roommate. We raced with one another, who finish their workout first. Every night before we sleep, we did 100 sit-ups. Within 2 months, I gained abs.
But high school ended, so did my exercise routine. I became lazier and lazier. (Never thought that would be possible) And my abs turned from fab to flab. My arms are no longer toned. They wiggles, they freaking wiggles whenever I wave.
I WANT MY BODY BACK!
Obviously, you won't be seeing me hitting the gym or going to the park for a jog anytime soon. I can't overcome my laziness that fast. I don't have the discipline for it. Plus, this semester's hectic class schedule barely give me the time to go online. So, I have derived a plan to get myself back into shape. It'll be a slow progress, but hey, at least I'm doing something instead of just complaining about it, right?
And here's the plan.
1. Do not eat after 10 p.m.
2. Drink more water.
3. Do 20 sit-ups every night.
All three seems achievable, right? Shuck, they look so easy, it'll be impossible that I couldn't stick to them. Wrong.
1. After 10pm, my body automatically drive itself to the kitchen, check the fridge, and look for snacks. If there are none, I'll start frying. ALWAYS.
2. I pee more than I drink. And I still wonder where all the liquid comes from. And why would anyone choose plain water over Coke or Teh C Special? Most days, I don't drink water at all. Very unhealthy, I know. Which is why I NEED to drink more water. Plus, I read about how water helps you lose weight.
3. Well, this is self-explanatory. To do 1 sit-ups is already hard enough.
This is my plan for March. I sure hope I can stick to it.
