Time to Change

Most of you probably are wondering; change what? Change my outfit? Change my phone? Change the world? Or change my hair style, like Alia did?

Look at the process of Alia's hair transformation. All in just one month!
From this

To this

And now.
Next?

Would I be willing to trade my curls for a different hairstyle? Don't be silly. Of course not. I actually like my hair. Sure, some days, I do wish I have naturally straight hair like Kim's. But I'm just human, we always want what we can't or don't have.

No, the change I am talking about is not about my hair, nor the world. There's nothing much I can do about the latter. (Yes, yes. I know I shouldn't think such a way.) I'm talking about my blog.

It's time to change my blog.

And just like Alia's hair, it'll be in a process. But unlike her process, I won't cut that fast. It'll be a slow and long process, depending on my "rajin-ness".

First off, the blog URL. What was I thinking, using my name as the blog URL? Sure, I was thinking, "it'll be easier for my friends to locate it", but I should have thought further. I'm too google-able! What if I'm applying for a job, and the company decided, "hey, let's google this Aqilah girl. Kids these days, they all have social sites, let's see what she's really like outside." And boom! All my posts don't align with the company's policy or unpleasant pictures of me being unprofessional and unethical.

Bye, bye dream job.

Sure, both my Facebook and Twitter are private. But we never really know. What's on the internet, stays in the internet. And that is definitely not a good thing. It's different from the idioms "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" as everyone has access to the internet.

And did you hear the rumors about Facebook selling our information to corporations? Darn you Mark Zuckerberg! (But thanks for creating Facebook.)

Anyway, back to the topic. What should I change my blog URL to? My mind is blank. All the names I can come up with are, well, related to my hair. I'm sorry, but my curly hair is what people notice first.

Lame, right? So, do you have any suggestions?
